MecTURING Limited Warranty Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: From the date of purchase, MecTURING provides a robust warranty program designed to ensure the best possible support for our customers. Please carefully read the warranty terms and conditions below for details regarding coverage, exclusions, and claim procedures.
1. Warranty Coverage
1.1 2-Year Limited Warranty
- 1-Year Comprehensive Warranty
Covers spares parts like suction motor, lidar module, PCB, motors, labor, and logistics necessary to repair or replace any defective components in your MecTURING RVC model. - 1-Year Extended Warranty
Covers labor and parts for specific issues outlined in Annexure 1. This extended coverage begins immediately after the comprehensive warranty ends.
2. Battery and Adapter Warranty
- Battery Warranty: 6 months warranty, covering batteries that perform at less than 30% capacity or are non-functional.
- Adapter Warranty: 6 months warranty, covering non-performing, faulty, or dead adapters, including those with power fluctuations.
3. What is Not Covered Under Warranty?
- Consumable Items: The warranty does not cover wear and tear on consumable parts, including but not limited to:
- Brushes
- HEPA filters
- Mop pads
- Physical or Intentional Damage:
Any damage due to mishandling, accidental drops, scratches, water damage, liquid spills, electrical surges, or acts of nature (e.g., floods, earthquakes, etc.) is not covered. - Third-Party Repairs:
Warranty is void if the product has been serviced, repaired, or altered by unauthorized service providers and self-repaired. - Unauthenticated Purchases:
Products purchased from unauthorized sellers or grey markets, as well as refurbished products, are not eligible for warranty claims.
4. Annexure 1: Components Covered Under Extended Warranty
The following components are covered during the extended warranty period:
- Suction motor failure.
- Ground or IR sensor malfunctions.
- Speaker issues.
- IR failure in the charging station.
- Malfunctions in charging poles.
- Issues with connectors, wires, or lugs.
- Faulty reset buttons.
5. Warranty Claim Process
5.1 Filing a Claim
To initiate a warranty claim:
- Submit a support request on the MecTURING website with your proof of purchase, including product details, seller information, and purchase date.
- MecTURING will arrange for the product to be collected for evaluation at no cost to the customer, provided the conditions outlined in the return policy are met.
5.2 Return Guidelines
- The product must be returned in its original packaging, with all accessories included.
- It is recommended to insure the package to protect against shipping damages.
- Include a copy of the purchase invoice with the return to facilitate identification.
5.3 Inspection and Resolution
Upon receipt, MecTURING will inspect the product to confirm the reported defect:
- If a manufacturing defect or shipping damage is identified, MecTURING will either repair or replace the product free of charge.
- If the same product variant is unavailable, the customer will be offered a replacement of equal or greater value, with any price differences settled accordingly.
5.4 Warranty Actions
Once a warranty claim is validated, the call to replace or repair the product will be on MecTURINGs discretion:
- Repair the faulty product and return it to the customer.
- Replace the faulty product with a new equivalent or greater functionality model.
Important:
- The original warranty period remains effective; it does not reset or extend upon repair or replacement.
6. Exclusions from Warranty
The following situations and conditions are not covered by MecTURING’s warranty:
- Consumable Items: Consumable and wear items, such as bags, filters, brush rollers, cords, mop pad
- Improper Handling: Physical damage from falls, pressure, improper use, or misuse, including inappropriate liquid use (e.g., adding disinfectants to the water tank).
- Unauthenticated Repairs: Repairs or modifications by unauthorized service providers void the warranty.
- Shipping Damages: Damage incurred during customer-arranged return shipments due to improper packaging or mishandling.
7. Refund Policy
7.1 Refund Process
Refund requests must be submitted within 15 days of purchase. MecTURING will process refunds using the original payment method after deducting applicable charges for missing accessories or damages.
Refunds will be processed within 15-20 days of the refund request.
8. Spare Parts Availability
MecTURING guarantees the availability of spare parts for up to 5 years following product discontinuation. Customers can purchase spare parts directly through MecTURING’s official website: www.mecturing.in
9. Warranty Limitations
This warranty is only valid for products purchased from MecTURING’s official store or authorized resellers in the country of purchase. The warranty period is not extended for repaired or replaced products, and no replacement parts will be provided directly to customers during repairs.
